Busta New LP On The Come Out

Busta Rhymes is finishing up his eighth studio
album, “Back On My BS,” as a follow-up to his 2007 LP, “The Big Bang,” and
adding to the long list of rap albums dropping on Dec. 4.
“You can definitely expect something super duper stellar,” says Busta, who said
that he’s going back to his traditional rap style complete with “the outfits,
the hat, the coat.”
“Hot energy joints and songs that are a little bit more approachable aren’t
going to feel as dark [as more recent tracks], even though I got a lot of
situations to talk about, because of the last year. I still have so much to be
happy for.”
Busta’s album will feature production by Dr. Dre, the Neptunes, Swizz Beatz, Hi-Tek,
DJ Scratch, and the late J. Dilla.
Assuming no delays, “Back On My BS” will be joining several other hip-hop
releases slated for Dec. 4, including:
Wu-Tang Clan - “8 Diagrams”
Saigon - “The Greatest Story Never Told”
Ghostface Killah - “The Big Dough Rehab”
DJ Drama - “Gangsta Grillz: The Album”
Wyclef Jean - “The Carnival II”
Three Six Mafia - “Last 2 Walk”
