CBS RADIO - DIVERSITY

April 12, 2007. After MSNBC fired Don Imus yesterday, pressure has been on CBS Radio to do the same. So far, CBS Radio has stuck by the 66 year old shock jock.

But MediaTakeOut.com has just discovered an embarrassing fact that may make it even more difficult for CBS Radio to stand by its decision. You see, it turns out that on CBS Radio's web page on diversity, the network only shows photos of White men. As the below photo shows, despite claiming that the network is "as diverse and representative of the public we serve," the station doesn't show any photos of women or minorities.

UPDATE - Since we initially published our report, CBS Radio has updated their website. Now the page has a photo of Brian McKnight and one of a woman. Neither of whom, we are told, works for the network.
